I was not expecting this level of quality. This is actually well made and the electronic controls were a big plus. In fact, it seemed a bit over-designed. Overall, the suction is good for general laser engraving and cutting 3mm plywood, and the multiple filters held up well. It’s built like a tank and delivered on the listing promise. I should note, this would not be big enough for laser cutting 1/2” wood, but that is beyond the scope of this product anyways. The duct is sturdy and moves to where you need it and how thoughtful they were to include silicone intakes which help if this is for soldering as spatter will not stick to it and ruin the tube. Overall, this is a great value for the money. Very happy.

I wish the unit was easier to connect to my xtool D1 pro laser engraver, yet I was able to connect the hose from the enclosure to your hose using electrical tape to seal off the hoses. Works great and no smoke smell in my shop at all. Thanks

My unit had come with a tube that was too large for the attachment site,.. Company responded quickly and sent another, which was unfortunately the same size larger tube. Company again responded quickly and sent one directly from Hong Kong,.. wait time was a bit longer but this time was the correct tube, they also sent me additional filter for the inconvenience,..
As for the unit itself,.. for my application works great!! no smells intruding into my living space,... NICE!!
It is a bit loud,. but no big deal to me. I use this for extracting fumes from 20 watt laser engraving machine.

Does FC-2002 work with laser engraving machines such as F1/S1/M1/D1 Pro?
Of course! The FC2002 fume extractor is very suitable for laser engravers with 10-20W laser power. Its 260m³/h air intake ensures complete absorption of the fumes generated during laser engraving.
Where to buy replacement filters？

How often are main carbon filters and medium hepa filters generally replaced?
If used normally, our high efficiency activated carbon main filter generally needs to be replaced only once in 8 months to 1 year. The glass fiber hepa-filter is generally changed once every 3 months to 6 months.
What if my FC-2002 laser fume extractor breaks down due to an accident?
Don't worry, the Fumeclear team will be at your full disposal until the situation is resolved. Furthermore, all Fumeclear series fume extractors are equipped with a spare fuse inside the machine.
What type of battery does the remote control use?
