WHAT IS SOURCE CAPTURE?
Source capture is an air pollution control technology designed to capture and effectively remove pollutants as they occur, preventing them from entering the surrounding environment. This technology is achieved by setting up capture equipment or systems near pollution sources.
Source capture may be defined as the process of removing gas, smoke, fumes, and particle emissions where they are generated. Contaminants are isolated and then removed from an individual’s workspace.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF A SOURCE CAPTURE SYSTEM?

HOW DOES IT WORK?
- Capture stage: When the pollution source produces harmful gases or particles, the source capture purifier has a suction hood at the end of the adjustable bamboo arm to capture the pollutants near the pollution source. These devices are usually located above or around the source of pollution to ensure that the pollutants produced are effectively absorbed.
- Transmission stage: The captured pollutants are transmitted to the multiple filtration system through pipes, air ducts, etc.
- Treatment stage: After pollutants enter the multiple filtration system, they will go through a series of treatment processes, including filtration, adsorption, chemical reactions, etc., to remove harmful components in the pollutants. Different types of source capture purifiers may use different treatment technologies, such as bag filtration, activated carbon adsorption, chemical neutralization, etc.
- Discharge stage: After the processed purified gas is processed inside the purifier, most of the harmful components are removed, making it cleaner and safer. Finally, the clean gas is discharged into the environment through the discharge pipe, achieving the purpose of purifying the air.
