They work great, silica packets for each one and labels . I would widen the bottom a bit to be more stable standing but other than that they doing good.
Works great removing resin smell from printer. Arm adjusts & stays where you put it. I have not hooked up exhaust line due to location of printer but it cleans the air so well of any smell that I may not.
absolutely love my new FumeClear desk dust collector! The larger size is one of my favorite features because it gives me so much more coverage while I work. It’s surprisingly thin and doesn’t take up much space on my desk, which I really appreciate.
It works incredibly well, especially for the price. One feature that really stands out is the pause button built into the power switch. It’s so convenient to be able to pause it for a moment while I’m doing something without having to completely turn it off and back on. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference compared to other brands I’ve used.
If you’re looking for a desk dust collector that performs well, is sleek, and offers great value for the money, I would definitely recommend the FumeClear!
I have a warehouse that I cannot vent the laser outside. We tried the extractor that Monport suggested and sold us. It removed the smoke but the entire warehouse smelled like smoke. The XL-500 took care of that by about 95%. You still get a slight smell. If you have a bigger laser like our Monport 60w you will have to get a few extra items. We got 90 degree connections so the hose would not kink. Plus we had to get different size connectors due to the hose being too big for the back of the extractor.
This is a great unit for indoor use. We are thinking of putting a Y connector on the hose to hook it up to our 2nd laser. We don't plan on running both at the same time as we use them for different things.
I pierce many of my woodturnings with a high speed dental tool. The process makes both fine particle dust and smoke/fumes. I needed a small, powerful system to clean the air and keep my lungs safe. The Fumeclear fits the job perfectly.
The XL-300 is awesome. I use it with a Aeon Mira 7 when cutting acrylic, wood and eva foam and it traps all the smoke and fumes. IT is also strong enough to pull all the fumes and particles when using my Monport 20 watt fiber laser. I really like how easy it is to change the filters and the fact that I just need to change a single filter at a time, no need to replace the entire set each time. The variable speed control is also a nice feature. I was reluctant to spend money on a "real" fume extractor like the FumeClear, but I'm happy I did rather than compromise on one of the underpowered units sold for a couple hunder bucks on Amazon.
This Machine is Amazing it does exactly what I needed to take a way the monomer smell and nail dust away. My sinuses are much better now! This was the best investment I've had made in my career!
This Fumeclear fume extractor saved our laser cutting operation. The building design did not allow us to vent outside, and this unit effectively clears thick smoke and eliminates harsh, burnt odors right at the source, allowing us to run our laser indoors without compromising on air quality or safety.
I searched around a lot before getting this unit but I'm glad I did I upscaled to future proof my laser cutting on my h2c and my UV printer this unit can handle the fumes from both with ease come with a handy remote so you can adjust as needed from you workstation. When using for UV ink fumes it's amazing I don't have to wear a full respirator anymore as this keep my work area safer and a lot less smelly UV fumes and epoxy fumes no longer are a problem. Also on a side note the website for ordering extra parts and such is also very user friendly so I'm happy with that as well. This unit fits under the table when not in use as well it perfect height and actually pretty quiet for an extraction device.
Purchased the filters for the FC-1001A and they have performed as expected. The filter appear to be of high quality. I use this with my laser engraver and it does a very effective job of removing smoke. Shipping from fumeclear was quick. I had questions and they responded quickly to my email.
Purchased the FC-2004 when noticing smoke and fumes not being completely removed by the fan on engraver. The FC-400 completely removes both, even doing cutting that creates lots of smoke.
I am an owner of a laser cutter and a complete 3d resin print setup (printer, washing and curing) and since my current set up does not have window ventilation, this unit was key for a filtration system. The lowest setting works well with the fume tent my 3d print setup resides in. While the more powerful settings works well with laser cutting a variety of materials. The unit is heavy, but the wheels work great on my work mat or bare floors. The weight comes from the two HEAVY carbon filters doing their job of filtration. I enjoy the flexibility of moving the unit around instead of having to move everything close to a window which has been my past experience. I even found myself using the unit when pouring IPA outside of the fume tent and the hose is awesome for directing to any position and holding that position without support. Overall, the unit is easy to use and setup. Yes, it does make a bit of noise at it’s lowest setting but the noise is equal or a bit less that my indoor dehumidifier. At it highest setting the noise is quite loud so be mindful of that for your work space. Saying all this, the unit is overkill for just a 3d printer so you can buy a weaker model, but if you have a laser cutter as well this is your best bet. Really impressed and would strongly recommend.
I don't have much space available in my desk and i needed a fume extractor for when i am soldering the working area is abit limited but the unit is compact and fits ontop on my desk behind my 2 screens. It needs to be accessible for the power button and speed control because the unit doesn't have any remote capability Overall im happy with my purchase

It's a nice box that holds your filament! Each box holds 6 standard 1kg rolls of filament perfectly. It's made of nice material, the zipper works great, and it comes with a couple of those things that absorb water, so it's supposed to help keep your filament dry. If you don't need it at the moment, it does collapse down to flat for easy storage. It also has a clear window in the front, so you can easily see what colors you have stored in there. Good item!
I really like this collapsible filament storage bag for keeping my most-used colors organized and off the floor or my desk. It's fabric, so the zipper obviously isn't going to make it humidity-proof, but that's not really what I'm using it for. I toss in a few silica packs and keep my frequently used rolls in it, and it works perfectly for that. For longer-term storage, I'd still bag my filament separately. The bag itself seems sturdy and well made, and I like that it collapses when I'm not using it. Just keep in mind that it's soft-sided, so I wouldn't stack several full bags on top of each other.Overall, it's a simple and convenient way to keep my everyday filament organized and looking much better than having rolls scattered around my workspace.
Anyone who does much 3D printing knows the pile of loose filament spools that ends up rolling around the workspace. I picked this to get mine under control, and it holds six 1kg spools of 1.75mm lined up neatly, so instead of a scattered heap I have one tidy bag I can grab or slide onto a shelf. The full zip closes it all up to keep dust off, and the carry handle makes it easy to move the whole lot at once, which is handy when I am rearranging the room.Setup was as easy as advertised. It unfolds and takes shape in about a minute with no tools, and it is light enough to reposition even when loaded. Being a soft sided bag, it also tucks into spots a rigid box would not. Here is the honest part, and it lines up with how I actually use it. This is a fabric zip bag, not a sealed hard shell dry box, so I would not lean on the zipper alone for serious humidity control. What works for me is tossing a couple of silica gel packs in with the spools, and with those doing the real moisture work, the bag keeps everything contained and organized between prints. If you are expecting airtight, vacuum level protection out of the bag by itself, this is not that, but paired with desiccant it has been a practical way to store filament. For keeping spools sorted, dust free, and easy to move, with my own silica gel packs handling the moisture, it has earned a spot in my setup.
I have filaments that are taking up quite a bit of space. I grabbed this bag to give storage a try. My plan was to dry some filament and keep them in this bag with a few dessicant packs in order to keep the filament ready. This bag fits 6 spools of filament. I really struggled to get the 6th in but just figured it was the difference in spool thicknesses etc leading to the issue so far, I am liking the bag and don't have any serious complaints. My only gripe is that the bag feels incredibly cheap, though it is an inexpensive bag. Since it takes my filament several months to gain exhessive moisture, it will be a bit before I know whether the bag is genuinely helpful .
Keeping filament dry is always a challenge, especially once you have more than a few spools. I expected this to be bulky, but it actually stores six 1 kg rolls while taking up less space than I anticipated. The spools fit well without feeling crammed together, and the case is easy to load and move using the carrying handle. The material is fairly thin, so I'm interested to see how well it keeps humidity out over the long term. I added a few silica packs inside, and I'm optimistic that combination will work well, but that will only become clear with time. For now, it's a clean, compact way to organize multiple rolls of filament without giving up a lot of shelf space, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
